Tout De Suite

Working up an appetite is bound to happen on your trip to Algiers Point. When hunger inevitably strikes, it is good to know that Tout de Suite is open seven days a week.

Tout de Suite has the look and feel of a quaint bakery with an extensive menu that doesn’t hold any punches. Shelby, one of the team members at Tout de Suite, spoke to us about the restaurant.

“All of our coffee and tea is organic and free trade,” says Shelby.

The breakfast menu is packed with Southern and New Orleans flavors and some interesting names. ‘Atchafalaya’ is a signature breakfast featuring crawfish etouffee served over stone-ground grits and two eggs.

“We are just a little neighborhood cafe, a lot of our regulars live right here in the West Bank.”

And the lunch menu is just as enticing. Tout de Suite pays homage to the French influences in New Orleans by cooking up a mean Croque Monsieur and an always delicious Baguette au Fromage.

If you happen to get a chance to look away from your food–it’s easier than it sounds–you might notice that Tout de Suite has lots of art hanging on the walls. Shelby talked to us about the art.

“Pretty much all of the art you see hanging on our walls is local,” she says. “And it’s all for sale.”

A Sunday on Algiers Point simply is not complete without brunch at Tout de Suite. Enjoy the cool breeze on the West Bank and sit outside for one of the local brunch favorites in New Orleans.

Make Tout de Suite part of your day on the West Bank.

Tout de Suite is located at 347 Verret Street, Algiers Point.
