NOSH, or New Orleans Social House, burst onto the scene in 2017 with, you guessed it, socializing in mind.
The mood inside of NOSH laid back, yet sophisticated. There are plenty of places to sit at the bar or you can kick back in a comfortable chair in the lounge area with a drink and listen to live music.
Speaking of drinks, NOSH has an extensive craft cocktail menu along with beer and wine. Perhaps the most unique drink on the cocktail menu is the Julia Rita. The Julia Rita is made with Ty Ku Sake, Milagro Silver Tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lime.
Experiencing some new drinks with friends is what NOSH is all about. We spoke with Kayla, one of Creole Cuisine’s Hospitality Coordinators about the vision.
“We want NOSH to be a place where people come to socialize and grab a cocktail,” she says. “A lot of people will come here for drinks first before going next door to Tommy’s.”
But NOSH isn’t just taking care of your thirst. There are plenty of small plate menu items that are shareable, but we won’t judge if you don’t share. The Seafood Bar features fresh Peruvian Ceviche with fresh catch Gulf fish, leche de tigre and plantain chips. Also, be sure to ask about the fresh Louisiana Oysters.
Looking to stay on dry land? The Bison Sliders are the perfect savory bite filled with Tillamook cheddar and caramelized onions all served on brioche buns — remember what we said about not sharing?
In honor of the restaurant’s namesake, Social Hour is from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday through Saturday and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Sunday. The Social Hour menu features an abbreviated selection of Small Plates, drink specials and $.50 Louisiana Oysters.
